Marvin Olasky reports on Townhall.com the disgusting statements of a false prophet pretending to be a "Christian" minister, who encouraged her audience to repeat the phrase "abortion is a blessing and our work is not done." A further quote from this false "reverend" is below.
|"When a woman becomes pregnant within a loving, supportive, respectful relationship; has every option open to her; decides she does not wish to bear a child; and has access to a safe, affordable abortion—there is not a tragedy in sight—only blessing. The ability to enjoy God's good gift of sexuality without compromising one's education, life's work, or ability to put to use God's gifts and call is simply blessing."|
And here we have the foundation of America's abortion industry, the reason America's number one abortion provider is a billion-dollar corporation and the reason why fifty million lives have been lost to abortion since 1973 in America alone. At its core, abortion is sacrificing children on the altar of unrestrained sexuality. Feminists love to tell us that no one is pro-abortion, but that the option must be available for women who "need" it. This fake "Christian" is not just pro-choice, but radically pro-abortion.
Is abortion a blessing? One could argue it is, for sexual predators. After all, abortion is a way to cover up sexual exploitation of teenage girls. A baby can expose the predator's behavior. As you can see in the links below, a large portion of teen pregnancy is caused not because two high school "sweethearts" conceived a child, but because adult men are sexually exploiting teenage girls. When we hear from "feminists" that teenage girls should have access to abortion and birth control, exactly who are they protecting? We know that Planned Parenthood has been caught on video attempting to cover up sexual abuse of teenage girls by adult men. See below:
| ||Virginia health officials said they became alarmed when they reviewed state studies showing that in 1999 and 2000, 219 babies born to 13- and 14-year-old girls were fathered by men over age 18. They also cited nationwide statistics that show that men older than 21 are three times as likely to father children with junior high school girls than are junior high school boys.|
|MINOR WOMEN WHOSE PARTNERS ARE SIX OR MORE YEARS OLDER ARE MORE LIKELY THAN OTHER SEXUALLY ACTIVE MINORS TO BECOME PREGNANT, AND THEY ARE LESS LIKELY TO RESOLVE UNINTENDED PREGNANCY IN ABORTION.|
|15-17-year-old women whose partner is... ||Pregnancies per 1,000 women||% Pregnancies unintended||% Unintended pregnancies ending in abortion|
|6 or more years older||653.8||70||21|
|3-5 years older||244.0||81||34|
|No more than 2 years older||176.6||82||49|
|Studies by the Population Reference Bureau and the National Center for Health Statistics found that about two-thirds of births to teenage girls in the United States are fathered by adult men age 20 or older. The Guttmacher Institute reports that over 40 percent of mothers aged 15-17 had sexual partners three to five years older and almost one in five had partners six or more years older. A 1990 study of births to California teens reported that the younger the mother, the greater the age gap with her male partner.|
As for false shepherd Katherine Ragsdale, she would do well to remember a dire warning from the Bible: "But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction." -- 2 Peter 2:1
