The 2020 election is over. It will not be reversed. Move on.

The 2020 election is over. Donald Trump lost. Joe Biden won. The result is not going to be reversed and it is a waste of time to continually re-litigate an issue that no one but the most devoted Republicans care about. The people who are still angry about 2020 are going to vote anyway, so Republicans need to broaden their appeal.

Donald Trump made the news media and the Left erupt when he posted the following on his Truth Social platform in response to news that the FBI had encouraged social media to bury the Hunter Biden laptop scandal:
This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country. REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!
Donald Trump is going to be Donald Trump. Hyperbole is his native language - everything he has an opinion about is either great and "beautiful" or it is terrible. There is no in between. Trump also has a victim's mentality, and he is unable to get over a real or perceived slight.

The idea that social media censorship makes Trump the "rightful winner" of the 2020 election is utterly absurd. Beyond the logistical impossibility of re-instating Trump in some sort of "storm," no actual laws were broken by Facebook or Twitter. Even if people are not allowed to see information on social media, it is still out there and covered by a multitude of conservative outlets. There is not a single person in the nation with an Internet connection who was unable to be informed about the laptop scandal.

It is also entirely possible that Trump is trolling for attention and is not serious. That is not good either. Other than very brief moments of professionalism, Trump spent his entire term acting like a teenage Internet troll "owning the libs" to make them react and generate "lulz" from his supporters. A year and a half after he left office, he has proven that not only has he not matured, he has actually become more childish. This is not the behavior we should expect from a President of these United States.

Most people do not care about the 2020 election. They care about the fact that gas prices have skyrocketed, everything at the grocery store costs more, and the fact that Joe Biden is recklessly spending money and printing fiat currency to make inflation worse. They care about what is going on in their local schools. Republicans need to focus on issues that will win the 2024 election instead of continually re-litigating the 2020 election. It is time to look forward, instead of looking backward. The only thing that matters now is policy.
