Bloomington's Planned Parenthood enables sexual predators

By Scott Tibbs, June 29, 2018

Three years ago, I wrote a letter to the editor asking if the Bloomington City Council was using tax dollars to help cover up the felony sexual abuse of underage girls. Well shazam! It looks like that is exactly what has been going on at Planned Parenthood, which operates an abortion mill on South College Avenue.

Indiana Right to Life and county affiliates have been reviewing terminated pregnancy reports, and there is no indication that 48 abortions done on teenage girls below the age of consent were reported to law enforcement or to Child Protective Services as required by Indiana law.

One of the sexual abuse victims was twelve years old.

This is why the Bloomington City Council and the Monroe County Council need to immediately stop giving taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood. Bloomington's Planned Parenthood was exposed in a 2008 sting operation as being willing to cover up the rape of a 13 year old girl. Now we know they are not reporting sexual abuse of teenage girls, including at least one pre-teen girl.

Think about how evil this is. You literally have parents being forced to subsidize a wicked organization that enables the rape of their own daughters. Not only were their daughters violated, these parents are being forced by their city and county government to financially support the deviant perverts who covered up for the predators. The victims and their families are violated by the predators and their local government.

Furthermore, the "all options" pregnancy center should also not receive one single penny of taxpayer funds. "All Options" maintains a fund to help pay for abortions. No organization that directly funds Planned Parenthood should be given taxpayer money.

It is long past time for local government to stop funding an organization that victimizes young rape victims and enables evil sexual predators to continue sexually violating their victims. It is time for the parents of Monroe County to stand up for their children by holding their elected officials accountable for the wicked misuse of our tax money. The victims of rape and sex trafficking deserve no less.
